SOUTH WAIRARAPA ITEMS.
(“The Age” Special.) Mr. and Mrs James Lamb, Daniell ! Street, are on a holiday visit to Keikohe, North Auckland! Mrs W. B. Martin, who has been visiting.her sister Mxs Noel Bull, Gisborne and her father, Mr. Cormack, Napier, returned home on Saturday. Mr. end Mrs W. Puin and their four young daughters are. passengers by the Tainui for London. Miss. O’Hara-Smith, of Gisborne, who leaves shortly by the Straitheird, for London, has been spending a few days with her sister, Mrs lan Grace. The-Band of Hope held a most enjoyable picnic at the Ruamahanga River on Saturday, when there was a large attendance of children and adults. The Harvest Thanksgiving Festival was held in St. Andrew’s Church on Sunday. In spite of the recent dry spelP there were many gifts of fruit, vegetables and fltrwers. Mrs B. Chapman, Newlin Street, left Martisborough yesterday te join the Mannganui, at Wellington, far Sydney and Melbourne. She is accompanied by Mite Shela Prater of Mssserton. They expect to be away about four weeks.
