AN INTENSIVE SEARCH.
NO TRACE DISCOVERED OF LADY YOUNG. TRAGIC POSSIBILITIES. CAPETOWN, March 3. Sixteen aeroplanes are now searching for Lady Young, wife of the Governor of Northern Rhodesia, and) Dr. Kirby. The fourth day’s search again proved fruitless. The searchers are now discussing the possibility of a crash into Kafue Flats marsh or a fall in the Kafue River. These theories are discussed because hitherto no native has reported having seen the aeroplane further north.
