THRONE OF SIAM.
OFFERED TO BOY PRINCE. NEPHEW OF THE EX-KING. (Received Monday, 10.0 p.m.) LONDON, March 4. The "Daily Mail’s” Lausanne correspondent says the Siamese Minister in. Paris offered the throne to Prince Ananda, the eleven-year-old nephew of the ex-King. His mother, Princess Songkla, does not object to the accession of Ananda, who is being educated at Lausanne and has intimated that he is ready to agree to the people’s wishes. “A MERE FIGUREHEAD.” (Received Monday, 10.0 p.m.) SINGAPORE, March 4. The Siamese Government has determined that the King’s successor shall be a mere figurehead.
