HUNDRED DROWNED.
FLOODS FOLLOW HEAVY RAIN IN CABPATHTANS. REPORTS OF SERIOUS DAMAGE. (Received Wednesday, 7.10 p.m.) WARSAW, July 18. At least one hundred were drowned in floods over a vast area in the Carpathians, extending to Cracow, following on thirty-two hours’ torrential rain. Bridges, railways and villages were destroyed.
