MOTORS IN BRITAIN.

RECORD PRODUCTION LAST YEAR. OVER A MILLION PERSONS EMPLOYED. (Received Wednesday, 7.10 p.m.) LONDON, July 18. The Society, of Motor Manufacturers reports that the record number of 220,775 cars was produced in Britain in 1933, and that there is now one vehicle for every twenty-seven of the population. Over a million persons are employed in the making, maintenance and operation of motor vehicles.
