TRIPLE SHOOTING.

TRAGEDY GN QUEENSLAND FARM. MURDER AND SUICIDE. BRISBANE, July 18. A triple shooting tragedy occurred at the home of James Bushby at Anamoor in the Gympie district. The victims were Mrs. Olive Bushby, wife of James Bushby; Phyllis Bushby, 17, their daughter; and Ivan James, 25, a labourer, formerly employed by Bushby, but recently dismissed. The body of Mrs. Bushby was found in the yard with a bullet in the temple, and the bodies of Phyllis Bushby and Ivan James were found lying together in the dining-room. Both had bullet wounds in the forehead. A rifle lay nearby. James’s attentions to Phyllis had been discouraged by the parents, and he had been forbidden to visit the home.
