OBITUARY.
MRS: EL HALS. After an illness extending over some, months, the death occurred at her residence, Te Ore Ore Road, yesterday afternoon, of Mrs. E. HMe, at the age of 67 years. The late Mrs. Hale, whowas born in Nelson had'resided in Masterton for 38 years, ever since her marriage. She was always a very active member of Stc Matthew’s Church, took a keen interest -in all ohurch affhirs and' was vice-president of the St: Matthew’s Girls’ ■ Olnb. The late Mr*. JHale was held in the highest respect by all for her sterling qualities and ithe sympathy of » large number of friends throughout the district will be extended to the bereaved relatives ik. their great loss. She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Misses Gihdyo and Hale and two, sons, Messrs Archer and Nelson Hale. Mrs. W. Nudgley; of Christchurch, and Mrs. K. Howell, of Lower Hutt, are sisters. The funeral will take place to-mor-row, leaving the residence, Te Ore Ore Road, Lansdowne, at 2.30 pna for BL Matthew’s Ctmrch, where a service will be held and thence to the Masterton Cemetery.
