FINE PERFORMANCE.

Pursuant to recent advice* *of an English official economy test in which a standard Hillman Minx with ' three passengers and luggage did 2364 miles at a cost of £5 5s advices have noic been received by Messrs Todd Motors, Ltd., New Zealand Distributors, of a Queensland ojrner who covered a trip of 2263 miles at a total expense of £8 4s 7d, this including 10s 6d paid for a change of oil. 69 gallons of petrol were used on the run—an average of 33 miles to the gallon, and which compares very well indeed with the English Record of 36J miles per gallon carried out on much better roads. The Hillman Minx has established itself very well on the New Zealand Market, and the 7934 free-wheeling 4speed models, in which a good has been even greatly improved upon in many details, are selling faster than they can be obtained from England.*
