MEETING OF MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. ._ DONATIONS ACKNOWLEDGED. At the monthly meeting of the Management Committee of the Methodist Home there were present Mr. J. H. Handyside (chairman), Messrs. C. E. Daniell, F. E. Wells, W. H. Judd, H. S. Tate, Dr. N H. Prior, the Revs. G. F. Stockwell and V. R. Jamieson, Mesdames J. Cocker, J. Elliott, and G. F. Stockwell and the Rev. J. Cocker (sec-retary-manager). The secretary reported that friends had so generously offered to take the boys and girls to stay in their homes during the holidays that it had been possible for all the children to fee so accommodated, except two who had been unable to leave the Home. The staff had also been able to be absent in turn on their holidays. The secretary also"reported that, as usual, a number of children had left the Home at the end of the year. One boy had gone to live in Wellingtdn, and another to a position near Blenheim. One girl had gone to Woodville, another to a situation in Masterton, one to Hawera, while another had become a junior member of the -staff, and also that three of the children had become scholars at the Technical School. It was expected that at an early date a memorial cot would be placed in the Home m memory of the late Rev. J E Parsons.
