BIG DEMAND' FOR SHARES. CHRISTCHURCH APPLYING FOB WHOLE ISSUE. CHRISTCHURCH, February 13. If expectations are fulfilled, it will be found when the list of applications for shares in the Central Reserve Bank closes on Thursday that applications for the full number of 100,600 £5 shares will have ibeera made in Chrisitohurch alone. Applications for fully 90,000 shares have already been received, and It is probable that when all applications have been sent in to the Treasury, the total will be dose on 100,000, indicating that for the whole Dominion the issue of capital will be heavily oversubscribed.—(P.A.)
