Last Thursday’s sealed handicap competition was won by Mrs. Coole. PIRINOA v. ROTOTAWAI. A match between the ladies of the Pirinoa and Rototawai Gplf Clubs, played at Rototawai links on Saturday, resulted in a win for the homo team. Results were as follow (home players mentioned first in every case): —Mrs. Collins beat Mrs. Busch, Mrs. Connell lost to Mrs. Carter, Mrs. Russell beat Miss Carter, Mrs. Matthews beat Mrs. Phillips, Mrs. Pearce beat Mrs. Hutana, Mrs. Parker beat Mrs. McKenzie, Mrs. Bourke halved with Miss Phillips, Mrs. Rankine beat Miss Mani- . hera, Mrs. Fenwick beat Mrs. Latham, Miss Pearce beat Miss K. Riwai. The return match will be played at Pirinoa on Saturday. Playing in the semi-final of the ladies’ championship of the Pirinoa Club, Mrs. Busch beat Mrs. Carter and Miss Carter beat Mrs. Hutana.
