CQMING TO-MORROW. “TO-DAY WE LIVE.” Joan Crawford and Gary Cooper are co-starred in “To-Day We Live,’' tvhich opens at the Regent Theatre tomorrow evening and will be shown at matinee and evening performances on Wednesday. In this Metro-Gpldwyn-Mayer production, Miss Crawford and Cocker, who have never appeared together on the screen before, find extended opportunities. 4 ‘To-day We Live” is based on a story by William Faulkner, whose novels “Sanctuary” and “Light in August” have created a literary furore. In “To-day We Live” Faulkner has written a story about the dramatic experiences of an English society girl who offers her services to England during the World War in an ambulance unit, and falls in love with an American airman. There is a strong supporting cast. Tn “Today We Live” Miss Crawford finds herself the centre of an emotional conflict between three men, two of whom lost their lives in her behalf. The powerful story shifts from the aristocra-. tic country estate of the heroine to dynamic episodes in the battle zones of the war, and has a wonderful climax. Seats may be reserved at Perry’s, ’phone 2496.
