MASTERTON CLUB GAMES. RESULTS OF PAIRS TOURNEY. The Masterton Indoor Bowling Club’s pairs tournament was concluded last week, when some interesting games were played. A. Williams and W. L. Sharman (s), and W. Drummond and A. Watson (s) were both level at the conclusion of the A section, and in the play-off a very good exhibition of bowling was given by both, teams. Williams and Sharman had to be on the alert all the time to gain a win by 18/11. In the play-off between the winners of the A and B sections, another very fine exhibition was given. The teams were:— A. Williams and W. Il Sharman >(s), A section, v. R. Simpson and A. W. Chapman (s), B section, Williams and Sharman proved to be the winners by 19/12. The singles tournament was continued last week, when W. L. Sharman beat R. Davies, 18/11; C. W. Perfect beat G. Jackson, 16/10; R. Simpson beat A. W. Chapman, 29/20; H. Bridge beat W. Drummond, 24/14; J. Davis beat J. G. Shearer, 18/10; W. Wilkinson beat C. A. Leigh, 24/18; R. Spackman beat R. Larsen, 23/10; A. Williams beat A. Gfarstens, 28/17; J. Fenton beat F. Dixon, 14/13.
