“ON OUR SELECTION” FINALLY TO-NIGHT. A deservedly popular programme, which has as its leading feature the Australian picture “On Our Selection” is to be shown finally at the Regent Theatre to-night. COMING TO-MORROW. “SIX HOURS TO LIVE.” Geneva, centre of international conferences and intrigue, provides the background for “Six Hours to Live,” the Fox Film production heading the new programme to be presented at the Regent Theatre at matinee and evening performances to-morrow. Warner Baxter in the principal role is said to be as fine as he ever has been in any picture, as he gives a sincere interpretation of the romantic, role of “Captain Paul Onslow,” international diplomat, that will long be remembered by all who see it. The story, briefly, centres about the efforts of Baxter, representing a small republic, to save his eountry from ruin by an unfair trading treaty which the world powers arc trying to force through a session at the Peace Paiace at Geneva. The novel manner in which Baxter foils efforts, makes for powerful drama. Baxter shares romantic interest with Miriam Jordan, a newcomer from the London and Broadway stages, and the ever-popular John Boles. George Marion does an excellent job in the role of an eccentric scientist and Beryl Mercer is her usual sympathetic self as ja. war ipother. Irene Ware makes a small part stand out.
