OLD GIBLS' CLUB ANNUAL MEETING.

SUGGESTED CHANGE OF COLOURS

The annual meeting of the Old Girls’ Hockey Club was held in the YMCA, rooms last evening, Mr. C. N. Cole presiding over a good attendance of members.

The report showed that the club had again enjoyed a very good season, while the balance sheet disclosed that the club was well off financially. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year:—Patron, Mrs. J. M. James; president, Mrs. A. Stubbings; vice-presidents, Mesdames Adcock, A. E. Clarke, P. McLaren, Messrs.!. Small T. McCracken, C. E. Daniell, W. Gay and the Rev. E. McLevie; secretary and treasurer, Mrs. C. N. Cole. The positions of coach and delegate to the association were held over for a future meeting; trustees, Mrs. C. N. Cole and Mr. J. Allan; committee, Misses Z. Pickering, E. Voyce, A. Beech, T. Dickason, U. Holtham, T. Rippon. The subscriptions will -be the same as last year, but a penalty of one shilling will be added if the subscriptions are not paid before June 1. It was decided to alter the club colours and the committee will* submit suitable colours at the next meeting. The usual morning practices will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

It was decided to have an insurance fund for all players of the elub, a committee being set up to go into the matter.

It was also decided to hold a dance later on, when a suitable night can .be arranged. Six new members were elected. The first practice will be held at 6 o’clock on Thursday, March 23. A vote of thanks was passed to the retiring secretary for her services, and was carried by acclamation. A vote of thanks to the chairman concluded the meeting.
