ESPERANTO CONGRESS.

GATHERING IN MASTEBTON NEXT WEEK. OPENING ON TUESDAY. The fourth annual congress of the New Zealand Esperanto Association is to be held in Masterton next week. The congress will take place in the Y.M.C.A. Rooms, starting on Tuesday and continuing on Wednesday and Thursday. Mr. G. R. Sykes will officially open the proceedings on Tuesday at 2 p.m. and later in the afternoon the annual meeting of the association will be held. Tho evening will be devoted to a social entertainment, at which Mr. W. H. King, secretary of the New Zealand Esperanto Association will give a short address and members of the Masterton Club will present a sketch in Esperanto. A programme of musical items has been arranged and after supper dancing will take place.
