FEILDING SALE.
FEILDING, December 21. There were small yardings of stock at the Feilding sale to-day. The demand for fat sheep showed the market very weak, ewes not being wanted. Two-tooths, prime, 11/3 to 11/8; good, 10/- to 11/1. No wethers were on offer. Ewes were not in demand, sales being made at 4/3 to 5/11. A few pens of store sheep failed, to find the reserve. There was a fair yarding of fat cattle of medium quality. Best bullocks, heavy breeds, made to £3/7/-; heavy cows, £2/I's/- to £3; heavy heifers, £3/12/6 to £3/15/-. The dairy pens were slightly stocked, and the market was somewhat dull. (Springing heifers made to £4/7/- and springing cows to £7/10/-.
Store cattle: A fair yarding sold at late rates. Good run two-year P.A. steers sold to £2/8/-. —(P.A.)
