FEILDING SALE.
FEILDING, December 16. There was an improvement in the prices of fat two-tooths and fat wethers at the stock sale to-day. A medium yarding of good quality fat ewes were slightly easier, having found a level after the slight increase lately. Fat two-tooths, primest, 14/2; prime, 13/2 and 13/3; good, 12/5; medium, 10/- to 11/1. Fat maiden ewes, 11/-; good ewes, 9/6; others, 5/- to 6/9.. IVt wethers, primest, 11/3 to 11/9; prime, 11/-; good, 10/3. Store sheep: Small yarding® of ewes, with 100 per cent, lambs, made 12/7; two-tooth ewes, 11/9 and 11/11; old ewes, from 3/-. There was a heavy yarding, principally of cows, and fat cattle, of which the quality was not the best. Prices were satisfactory. Shorthorn bullocks, £4 6/-; Hereford heifers, £3 9/6; P.A. heifers, £3 17/6; black and white heifers, £3 9/-; Hereford cows, £3 3/- and £3 16/-. Store Cattle.—Jersey heifers, r.w.b 26A to £2 10/6; store cows, 13/- to Dairy Stock. — A small yarding. Springing heifers, good quality, £4 2/6 to £4 5/-; fair, £3 5/1 to £3 17/6; others from £2 17/6; springing cows, good. £5 to £3 to £3 10/-; cows, calved, £4; heifers, in milk, 17/6 to 30/-; yearling heifers, £2 13/-. —(P.A.)
