BRIGHT ENTERTAINMENT.

ST. PATRICK’S SCHOOL CONCERN’.

EXCELLENT FARE PROVIDED. I articularly ifi.no entertainment was provided at the concert given in the Assembly Hall last night by the pupils of St. Patrick’s School. There was a very large and warmly appreciative audience who thoroughly enjoyed the splendid fare provided. The items *were well varied and gave ample proof of skilful and painstaking tuition. As the result of the splendid work of the Sisters the St. Patrick’s school concerts have always touched a high standard of musical and dramatic art. While all the items were uniformally good, the vocal selections of Mary and Peter Greenlees in the concluding item, “Piccaninies Song,” were particularly pleasing and earned well-merited rounds of applause. The programme was as follows:— Opening chorus, Choir. Infants song, The Dream Man. Irish Reel, Misses P. Hogan. J. Hogan, P. Kerins, J. Johnson. Quack Doctor. Master B. Donnelly and infants.
