MASTERTON SHOW.
SCHEDULES NOW AVAILABLE. ALTERATIONS TO CLASSES. Schedules for the Masterton Show, ' which is to he held on the Solway Showgrounds on Tuesday and Wednesday, February 14 and 15, are now available. Several amendments have been made to the classes and additional trophies are offered this season for competition. A new trophy is to bo competed for this year in the fat lamb and fat sheep section, the Co-operative Wholesale Society Ltd. having donated a silver cup for most points in freezers and fats while in the ring events Mr. Harold 'Scales 'has donated a cup, valued at £l5 15s for the champion jump. The group classes in the cattle section have been reintroduced in most breeds while all the fat cattle classes have been revised. Two new classes are included for girl and boy riders, for riders under 18 years in each case. Tn working draughts a class has been included for a foal, for which Mr. D. McKenzie has donated a first prize of £1 IDs. The contractors’ classes have also been revised. AH the kennel classes for dogs have been completely revised and numerous specials and cups are offered for competition. A new class in this section is one for a puppy under six months. Entries close with the secretary, Mr. R. H. Williams on January 30.
