MILITARY BALL.
FUNCTION IN MUNICIPAL HAI.L TO-NIGHT. Tihc annual Military Ball will be held in the Municipal Hall to-night, xhe joint secretaries, Lieut. B. H. Pringle and Company Sergt. Major C. C. Johansen have all the arrangements well in hand and the function premises to be an outstanding success. The music will be supplied by Ken Hicks and his Melodians and also by the Masterton Municipal Band. An. efficient ladies’ committee will be responsible for the supper arrangements and. also for the decorations, which are reported to be very artistic. An additional attraction will be two dance specialties by ”Trevor and. Dawn,” two well-known Wellington dance exponents. Dancing will commence at 8 o’clock ad all who attend are assured of a thoroughly enjoyable time.
