BASKETBALL
GAMES IN THE WAIRARAPA. SECONDARY GRADE. Following are the results of basketball games played in the Wairarapa Association’s competition:—Secondary A: High School beat Solway College, 13/10; St. Matthew’s College beat Technical School, 19/11. Secondary B, Northern: High School B drew with Solway College, 8 all; St. Matthew’s College beat High School C, 14/10. Secondary B, Southern: Greytown beat Carterton, 13/4 ,-Carterton beat Martinborough, 21/8; Martinborough beat Featherston, 28/10.
PRIMARY SCHOOLS. Primary schools games for the week ending June 12, resulted as follows:— St. Patrick’s beat Masterton West, 10/9. B teams: Fernridge beat Central, 16/0; Whatman beat Solway, 9/4; St. Matthew’s beat St. Patrick’s, 31/4.
