INDUSTRIAL ESPIONAGE.
CHARGES OF SELLING SECRETS. TRIAL AT LEIPZIG. BERLIN, June 10. The trial has begun in the Supreme Court at Leipzig of nine persons charged with industrial espionage at the big Luena chemical works. The accused include a shopkeeper named Becker, who allegedly got his wife, the works charwoman, to steal patents, chemical formulae, and other important material, which he sold to the French Espionage Service. The trial is being held in secret in the interests of national security.
