AIR FUNERAL.
DEATH OF KINGSFORD SMITH’S FATHER. ASHES TO BE SCATTERED INTO SEA. SYDNEY, November 3. A three-engined monoplane similar to the Southern Cross, and piloted by Kingsford Smith, will serve as a funeral bier to-morrow for the cremated body of Kingsford Smith’s father, who died last night. The funeral obsequies will be unique in Australia. Kingsford Smith will pilot the family over the sea to scatter the ashes of his father.
