COMPETITIONS SOCIETY.

JUDGES FOR THE 1931

At a recent meeting of the executive of the Masterton Competitions Society the following were appointed judge* •

for the 1931 Festival: Music-Vocal and Instrumental, Mr. E. Varley Hudson, 8A.., A.T.S.C., Musical Director, Normal College, Auckland. Elocutionary: Mr. Vryn Evans, M.A, (with honours) of the Technical College, Wellington. Dancing: Madame Edith Baird, of Auckland. The executive feels very gratified at securing the services of three such competent judges and is looking forward with every confidence to a most successful festival next May. The syllabus has been carefully revised in detail and will soon be in the printers hands for early publication.
