METHODIST SUNDAY SCHOOL.
ANNIVERSARY SERVICES. The seventy-forth anniversary services of the Methodist Suriday School were hold yesterday before large and appreciative congregations. The mUsie for the occasion was of a very special nature, the services throughout being choral. In the afternoon the children of the Infant Department rendered a number of items, which were greatly appreciated by parents and friends. Tho preacher at the three services was thri Bev. HaroM Sharp, of Lower Hutt.
This evening the celebrations will be continued, when a pageant will take place in the church at 7.30 o’clock. The pageant will take the form of a challenge to youth, a feature of which will be the oldfashioned Eastern costumes, with banners and trumpets. The pageant will include a number of recited pieces by the scholars of the school and also choruses by the full choir of 200 children. In addition, the annua! report of the Sunday School will be presented and the prizes won by scholars who have attained over a certain percentage of marks distributed. Mr. C. E. Daniell will preside.
