PLAY READING ON MONDAY EVENING. Two play readings are to be given by junior members of the W.E.A. Play Reading Circle at the final meeting this year, in the Municipal Social Hall on Monday evening at 7.45. Scenes from “The School for Scandal” (Sheridan) will be read under the direction of Miss I. Grant, and a reading of A. A. Milne’s “To Have the Honour” will be directed' by Miss J. Diekson. The cast for the Sheridan reading is: Lady Teazle, Miss I.- Grant; Ladv Sneerwell, Miss E. Calwell; Mrs. Candour, Misa.E. Bate; Maria, Miss 8. McDiarmid; Sir Peter Teazle, Mr. D. Thompson; Crabtree, Mr. Conly; Sir Benjamin Backbite, Mr. G. Mills; Joseph Surface, Mr S. Orr. “To Have the Honour” will be read by the following cast: Jennifer, Miss J. Dickson; Angela Battersby, Miss J. Drew; Ethel Holt, Miss M. Barrer; Imogen Faithful, Miss C. lorns; Mrs. Faithful, Miss J. Fellingham; The Prince, Mr. Kennedy; Capt. Holt, Mr. Frankpitt; Simon Battersby, Mr. Mulvey; Dr. Ainslie and James Oliver, Mr. Thomas.
