LEICESTER SQUARE BATHS. WOMAN TRAPPED ON FOURTH FLOOR. ANOTHER RESCUED FROM SIGN. (Received Sunday, 11.35 p.m.) LONDON, August 10. Theatre crowds watching a fire late last night at a Turkish baths next the Alhambra, in Leicester Square, saw a woman leave a sixth storey window and cling to the lettdr R on the Turkish bath sign until she was rescued from an escape. There were other exciting incidents. Firemen overcome by heat fell from a ladder. A woman’s charred body was found on the fourth floor when the flames were mastered. The Alhambra was saved.
