SEED GROWING.

ILLUSTRATED LECTURE TO-NIGHT. An illustrated lecture on seed growing is to be given at the Municipal Buildings this evening at 8 o'clock by Mr. J. W. Hatfield, an Agricultural Department expert who specialises in this branch of agriculture. The lecture has been arranged by the Small Holdings Association, and Mr. G. H. Perry will preside. The Masterton Chamber of Commerce has circularised its members, emphasising the interest and importance of Mr. Hatfield’s lecture. It is recognised that commercial seed growing holds promising possibilities as an industry which may be developed profitably on small areas of land.
