Mr. H. R. Renall, Kokotau, who is fan inmate of the Glenwood Private Hospital, Masterton, is progressing satisfactorily. Mrs Eliza Ormiston, of Onehunga, died on Saturday at the age of 101 years. She had been a resident of New Zealand for 69 years. The late Mrs Ormiston enjoyed good health almost to the end, and retained her faculties. The members of the family (two sons and four daughters) reside in Auckland, except Mrs J. R. Sinclair, who lives in Christchurch. An enlarged photograph of the late Mr. W. H. Seymour, of Hastwells, a former director of the Mauriceville Dairy Co., was presented to the company at the directors’ meeting yesterday. The chairman, Mr. V. K. Lemberg, made feeling reference to the worth of Mr. Seymour as a director and as a settler. His death was a loss to the whole district.
