HORSE SPORTS.
MEETING AT SOLWAY.
There should be. plenty of amusement for spectators and competitors alike at the horse sports to be held at the Solway Showgrounds on Saturday by the Wairarapa Horse Sports Federation. Thrills a plenty should be provided in the buck-jumping contests, for which some good horses have been procured. A young pig chase will ensure fun for the youngsters and each child catching a pig will receive 2s 6d. Admission charges arc, adults Is, school children free, motor cars Is. Admission to the grandstand is free. All events are post entry.
