SUPREME COURT.

LLTTINC; AT GURU I'CHURCH. CHRISTCHURCH, August 21. In the (Supreme Court to-day Adolphus James Outline was found guilty of an indecent assault on a boy aged fourteen and with attempted indecent assault. Finger print evidence was a large part of the Crwn’s case. Some prints or. a bottle at the scene of the first offence were proved to be those of Outline. The prisoner was remanded for sentence. Harold Pethcran pleaded guilty to a charge of mischief in respect to damage done to a building at Woolston and was remanded for sentence. When Albert Holt was called to answer a charge of indecent assault on a female there was no appearance of the accused. The Crown Prosecutor explained that the accused had absconded from bail and a warrant had beer issued on Monday for his arrest. On the application of his surety, the Crown Presecutor applied that the bail be estreated, but at the request of counsel for the surety, his Honour agreed to hold over his decision.—; (P.A.)
