Murch, Pahiatua, who has * been on a short visit to Featherston, has returned home. At the meeting of the Featherston j Bowling Club on Tuesday night, Mr W. ’ Franks, on behalf of W. % Ball, ’ donated a handsome-wilrer cup to the club to be called the Ball Memorial '■ Cup, to be held by the champion winner from year to year, the winner’s name to be engraved on it each year, u The club is indebted to Mrs. Ball for | this trophy as it will always tend to create great enthusiasm in thr singles championship. The club passed a vote • of thanks to Mrs. Ball for her gift. / Bowling Club. The annual meeting of the Featherston Bowling Club was beldyon Tuesday night, the president (Mr. H. Grams), presiding over a fair attendance. The report and balance sheet, which were very satisfactory, were adopted., H.
