MASTERTON HARRIERS.
WAIRARAPA CHAMPIONSHIP ON SATURDAY. RUN FROM CARTERTON. The Masterton Harrier Club will run the ten-mile Wairarapa district championship on Saturday next. Starting* from the Carterton Post Office, the* competitors will follow the main roafl" as far as the Central School and will then proceed across to Chapel Street end down that street to the park. Mr. L. A. Wadham's cup will be presented ’ to the runner making the fastest time. Mr. Len. S. Nicol has presented a eup for the winner of the handicap which will be run in conjunction with the championship. A bus conveying the runners to Oarterton will leave the Post Office nt. 1,45 will follow the race from Carterton bock U> Masterton. x
