Thomas, Lord Privy Seal, speaking ou unemployment, said that the entry of children of fourteen into industry was a problem bristling ■ with difficulties. There were 300,000 people engaged in industry between the ages of sixty-five and seventy. There waa an equal number, aged twenty-five, of unemployed. In the Dominions there was material ready to be used; on this side there was human material going to waste They could not dictate to the Dominions, but he hoped that when the portion Was explained to them, they would desire to help.—(Australian Prose Association —United Service.)
