SUSPECT ARRESTED.
ADELAIDE SAVINGS BANK HOLD-UP. CHARGE OF ROBBERY UNDER ARMS. A FEMALE COMPANION. (Received Thursday, 9.30 p.m.) ADELAIDE, July 4. As a sequel to the bank hold-up, reported yesterday, the police arrested a motorist couple at the country town of Swanreach. They gave the names of John Walker, aged 27 and Lorraine Delanty, aged 22. .Walker was charged with robbery under arms. —(Australian Press Association.) (A cablegram yesterday reported:-— “An armed robber held up the North Adelaide branch of the Government Savings Bank at mid-day. He .-hut the manager and an assistant in a vault, stole £6CO and escaped in .a car driven by a woman. ”)
