Prince Patorno end his wife, belonging to an ancient Sicilian family, have renounced the world. The husband is becoming a Monk of the Barnabite Order and the Princess a Carmelite nun. Before embracing religious life, the couple gave the Pope all their possessions valued at £270,000. The Vatican declared that the marriage was not annulled, but the Prince and Princess would be separated for the rest of their lives.—(Australian Press Association.)
