SHOCKING DEATH.
RAILWAY EMPLOYEE KTU.HD. SLIPS UNDER CARRIAGES. DUNEDIN, July 2. A middle aged man, Archibald John Shephard, married, residing at 11 Dacre Street. Cavensham, was killed in the railway yard this afternoon. Ho was employed in the goods foreman’s department and had finished work when a line of eight cars was being ■hunted into the north end of the station. He attempted to board the nearest car but slipped and the whole eight ears passed over him, cutting (him to pieces.—(PA..)
