MASTEETON CLUB'S EVENTS SATURDAY’S RACE The Maaterten Homing Pigeon (Sub flew a young bird race on Saturday from Woodville to Mtistcrton. The race resulted: A. Whiteman's Royal (Flyer, 1; L. Groube’s Baby Betty, 2; J. Stevens’s Captain Kettle, 3; J. Wakelin’s Dismal Desmond, 4. ,On March 2 the club Hew a single bird tow from Petone, Thia event resulted: T. and J. Taylor’s Red Heckle, 1; R. Leighton's Prohibition, 2; J. Wakelin's Scrapper, 3. Next Saturday a race will be flown from Dannevirke.
