MAKING LOCAL “MOVIES.”

Local amateur theatrical folk are to be given an opportunity to appear in a film to be made here. This innovation has bOen introduced through the enterprise of Mr. W. R. Kemball, who has secured the services of the well-known professional film producer, Rudall Hayward, to direct the film. Good headway is being made and the services of local horsemen and a good comedian have been obtained. In the story, a garden party is given for the heroine, and Mrs. W. A. Burling, Lansdowne, has kindly lent her beautiful grounds for the staging of this scene. A hero has not yet been decided on. A youngman with good features and physique, and able to rido well is required for the 'role. Anyone willing to take part in the film is asked to ring Mrs. Hayward at the Cosy Theatre or Hotel Midland.
