PAPERS PROTEST.
BRITISH BROADCASTING- CO’S PROPOSAL
LONDON, January 4. The newspapers, including the “Daily Telegraph” and the “Daily Express, ’ ’ are protesting on the grounds of unfair competition against the British Broadcasting Company to use State funds to launch shortly a literary weekly at 2d, followed by a series of educational books, yirtuall building up a publishing business—(Australian Press Association.)
