LOWER VALLEY DAIRY CO.
SHAREHOLDERS’ ANNUAL MEETING (“The Age” Special.) The annual general meeting of the Lower Valley (Tuhitarata) Dairy Company was held at the. factory on Monday, there being a good attendance of shareholders present. Mr. A. Linton, chairman of directors, presided. The report and balance sheet were approved, shareholders commenting in most favourable terms of the position of the company as disclosed by tho balance sheet. The output this year was 214 tons, as compared wita 188 tons the previous season. The actual payments distributed among shareholders was £4BOO in excess of last year. The turnover this year was £17,400 as compared with £12,800 last year. Messrs Campbell Smi.th and B. Robertson. were elected to the directorate with Messrs A. Linton (chairman), R. H. McMaster, A. Olderidge, C. E. Hodder and D. S. Sutherland.
