TO-NIGHT’S CONCERT.
THE MASTERTON ORCHESTRA The programme for the concert at the Opera House to-night is advertised on the front page, and the good musical fare should ensure a record attendance. By special request, the orchestra will play Mendelssohn’s Concerto in G Minor, with Miss L. E. Hail A.T. C.L. as soloist, at the piano,. Those who had the privilege of hearing this wonderful composition, as interpreted by the -society at its first concert this season will remember it with pleasure. Other items by the Orchestra will include numbers already made popular and some quite new to the local concert platform. Miss E. Ralph, and Mr. Fred G. Bourke are the vocal soloists. Miss Ralph will be remembered a; the “star” in the local production of the “Sunshine Girl.” Mr. Bourke, who has recovered from his recent illness, will sing four songs from his extensive repertoire. Mr. Pinfold and his choir from the Masterton West School are tilso assisting. Mrs Rosewarne and Miss Bourke will be the accompanists. Seats may be reserved at the Arts and Crafts, or bought at the door.
