WILLIAM MAYNARD SENTENCED TO DEATH LONDON, June 5. William Maynard was sentenced to death for the murder of Richard Roadley, at Bude last February. His evidence consisted of an attack on the police, alleging that a statement was obtained from him by means of threats.—(Australian Press Association).
