SUPPLEMENTARY SALE AT CHRISTCHURCH SEASON JS PRICES MAINTAINED CHRISTCHURCH, May 31. A supplementary wool sale was held to-day. The catalogue comprised 1020 bales, principally erutchings, with a few odd lots of fleeces. There was a good attendance of buyers and the demand was satisfactory. The prices realised were compariable with those obtained during the season. The top price of 24}d was paid for halfbred Merino and Corriedale fleece wool. Other prices were: Throe-quarterbred, 19}d; crossbred, 18jd. The top price for lambs’ wool was 19Jd. Bellies realised up to 16fd.—(PA.).
