ALLEGED ABDUCTION.

AUCKLAND, April 5. At the Police Court to-day James Henry McKeich, arrested at Ashburton, was charged with having caused 0 girl under the age of 18 years to be taken out of the possession of her parents against their will. Ho was remanded till April 16. The accused was at. present serving a sentence of fourteen days’ imprisonment for default of payment of his wife’s maintenance. Bail was fixed at £IOO.—(P.A.).
