ALLEGED THEFT.

RAILWAY OFFICERS CHARGED CHRISTCHURCH, April 22. Further charges of theft, involving over £2300 were laid against Gavin Gordon Watson (37) and James Neilson (29), both ex-railway officers, this morning. Both arc at present awaiting trial in the Supreme Court on charges involving £5OOO, the property of tho Department. On the application of tho police a remand was granted to April 2C .so that a third man r-juijl then appear also.—(P.A)
