AEROPLANE RACING.

THRILLING EVENTS IN ENGLAND HINKLER SCOOPS THE POOL. (Received Tuesday, 5.5 p.m) LONDON, April 19 Bert Hinkler, the Australian, was the hero of the Royal Aero Club air race meeting at Bournemouth, winning all three races in the presence of six thousand spectators. There were twenty-seven entrants in one race and with a course of only five miles, the spectators had plenty of fun for their money as the aeroplanes, travelling at a hundred miles an hour, were always in view. There was only one slight accident.—(A. and N.Z.) /
