PROVINCIAL GOLF.
LUSK WINS AUCKLAND TITLE. COMFORTABLE WIN OVER WRIGHT. AUCKLAND, April 19. In the semi-final of the Auckland provincial golf championship, R. D. Wright beat T. A. Goulding, 5 and 4; H. B. Lusk heat .T. M. Hussey, one up nt the 20th. In the final, Lusk beat Wright, 3 and 2. Wright-, who had been playing good golf during the tournament, played very badly over the first nine holes of the final, being four down at the sixth. After that his game improved slightly, but he could not overtake the lead established by Lusk who was playing par golf.—(P.A.) NELSON TOURNAMENT. WON BY TITLE HOLDER. NELSON, April 19. The final of the provincial championships was won by G. Richmond, . of Nelson, the holder, who beat Daniell (Miramar), 4 and 3.—(P.A.)
