FEILDING SALE.
GOOD MARKET FOR FATS. FEILDING, March 3. There was a large yarding of sheep ef all classes at the Feilding sale. Fats sold on about a par to a shade better than last week. Good ewes were keenly sought and sold at prices slightly advanced on last week. Rape lambs (of which not many were yarded) also sold very well, but sto-e lambs were in dined to drag. A few small p'ens of two-tooth wethers sold well. A big line of four-tooth .to five-year ewes from Pahiatua were : passed in at 19/-, this being the only bid These were exceptionally good sheep and on values ruling at the sale should have made more money. Prices:—• Fat Lambs, 21/, 23/7, 24/9; fat' ewes 14/2 to’ 16/-; fat wethers 23/-, 24/3 25/6; fat b.f. 19/- to 25/8; two-tooth ewes (small), 16/7, 17/7, medium 22/4, 23/-, good 25/9, 26/7; small four-tooth ewes .18/6; mediuij three and four-year ewes, 17/6; four and five-year ewes, 14/2 to 20/6; five-year ewes, 15/3 to 16/8; old ewes 5/- to 11/4; fair bf lambs, 15/4 to 16/10; small to medium, 9/6 to 14/3; medium Romney wether lambs 11/3, do'. ewes, 14/4; two-tooth wethers, 18/4 to .20/4; small four-tooths 19/2; b.f. two-tooths, 18/9. —(P.A.)
